(Images) hath charms to soothe the savage breast,
To soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak.*

Retail brick-and-mortar outlets account for roughly 99% of my sales: cooperatives, restaurants, galleries, etc., along the Midcoast of Maine. Customers, however, seem to think I should have a web site. Being ever so impressed with my own abilities, I was sure it would be easier to write and maintain a site than keep explaining why I didn't have one. Alas, I was wrong. Writing and maintaining web sites is a real pain in the patoot. That said, here it is. As a rule, the first photos in galleries are the most recent. Otherwise, there's not much in the way of rhyme or reason to placement. If you see something you can't live without, consult Where the Prints Are or Purchasing Prints. Otherwise, come to Maine and see these photos for yourself--not to mention the original landscapes where they were taken. Trust me: Time spent in Maine is time well spent.

*Apologies to English playwright William Congreve (1670-1729), who was talking about music, not photography. And while I make no claim that my photos will soften rocks or bend knotted oaks, I have been told by more than one customer they can be quite soothing. This you will judge for yourself.
